AWS is a platform used by millions of people every day in one way or another, for most things they do online. It’s popular by websites big and small, and if you’re in the market for someone to manage it all, I’m your guy. With my multiple years of experience with AWS and my AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certificate you can trust that anything you have in the AWS cloud is something I can manage and probably even improve!
The list of AWS services I have experience with:
-
Lambda
- I’ve written them in Python and server-side Swift using docker containers for a variety of purposes
-
EC2
- I’ve spun up many EC2 instances for many things, while being mindful of cost and being careful to not over-provision
-
RDS
- Huge fan of Aurora Serverless for maximum performance and scalability
- Worked with traditional MySQL/MariaDB RDS instances as well
-
S3
- Experienced with setting up and managing S3 buckets for storing website static assets, among other things
-
Cloudfront
- Used cloudfront in many areas. As CDN for S3, as well as in front of API Gateway for one project
-
API Gateway
- There are naturally many use-cases for this, but I’ve set up a few endpoints with it, in a secure fashion
-
CloudFormation
- Entire stacks set up in AWS using this. Makes things a lot easier, but can limit control to some degree
-
Among other things
- AWS is big, so I probably shouldn’t list everything, but I could make this list much longer. Any questions, just ask down below!
